The Guangdong WTO Affairs Consultation
Service Center is an institutionalized legal entity, established
through examination by and approval of the Guangdong People’s
Government in November 2001. It is a service institution of Guangdong
Province designed to boost adaptation to China’s entry into
the WTO.
The Center is dedicated to helping governments at all levels and
enterprises throughout the whole province access the opportunities
and deal with the challenges brought by China’s entry into
the WTO, participate in fair competition, maintain and protect legal
rights and interests, and transform Guangdong from a major provincial
foreign trade and economic center into an internationally competitive
one.
As the largest professional consultation service institution dealing
with WTO affairs in South China, the Center serves Guangdong primarily,
but also serves the whole country.
