As an independent institutional legal body, in accordance with the functions granted by the Guangdong People’s Government, the Center has accepted responsibility for conducting business with various governmental departments and enterprises.
Under direct supervision of the Guangdong Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation Department, the Center consults the Guangdong WTO Affairs Consultation Council for opinions on important business policy-making, keeps in close contact with various governmental departments and social organizations concerned with WTO affairs through the Council, and helps form a network of interdepartmental connections.
