Advanced information technology and innovative measures have been adopted by the Center in order for it to supply detailed information and top-grade consultation services to enterprises.
The IT department is responsible for providing technical support to the whole Center. It also develops and maintains the Center’s information management system, the database system, the website and the business application system. Meanwhile, it processes and formulates e-messages. As a result, the overall high level of the Center’s management and professional service is guaranteed by using advanced technology.
The Center has built up a modern office data management system that supports high-speed transmission and interchange of information. A consultation service system with diversified functions, advanced technology and rich resources of information has also been established on the foundation of the data bank of WTO rules, experts and talent, and legal statutes. The establishment of the website (www.gdwto.org.cn) provides the public with online information on WTO news, statutes on economy and trade, WTO rules and research by the Center.
