By means of a restructured virtual database and traditional information media, the Center has developed a self-service information resource as well as personalized professional services, and provides services for Party and government leaders in policy-making as well as for the public. In this way, the above sections form a comprehensive information consultation service system and guarantee the CenterĄ¯ WTO affairs consultation service.
Based on the system, the Center provides the following consultation services: helping governments at all levels make decisions to deal with foreign trade, economic issues, and WTO affairs, advising them on whether or not their policies are in accord with WTO rules, introducing foreign countries to the current level of GuangdongĄ¯s fulfillment of its promises after entry into the WTO, and coordinating the efforts of enterprises to deal with trade disputes such as dumping and so on. On the basis of industrial and entrepreneurial research, the Center provides consultation for enterprises on management and strategy.
